Yin Li, M.D., Ph.D., Doctoral Supervisor, is the associate professor and Deputy Director of Department of Integration of Chinese and Western Medicine, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Peking University; She serves as secretary general of Professional Committee of Microcirculation of Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine; member of the specialty committee of Qi-Blood of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies; member of the Professional Committee on Phlegm-Stasis of Chinese society for microcirculation; member of Professional Committee of Microcirculation of Chinese Pathophysiological Society; editorial board member of “Chinese Journal of Microcirculation”. Supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and National Key Research and Development Programs, she has conducted systematic research on the pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases through integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, published 53 SCI papers in journals including APSB, Diabetes, JBC. Her series of work has been awarded the Zhang Xijun Prize in Physiology. She has also been selected into the New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education.
