Personal Profile

Dr. Zhang's laboratory investigates the epigenetic regulation of carcinogenesis and aging, with a particular emphasis on developing both experimental approaches and computational methodologies in single-cell genomics and epigenomics, as well as targeted reprogramming strategies to advance understanding and treatment of cancers and chronic diseases. Dr. Zhang obtained Ph.D. from Peking University, and has remained focused on the field of epigenetics, with publications in Nature Genetics, Molecular Cell, and The EMBO Journal.
