Personal profile

Dai Hui is a Doctoral Supervisor and Associate Professor at the Department of Immunology, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Peking University. She earned both her bachelor’s and doctoral degrees from Peking University, with main research focus on glycoimmunology (including glyco-oncoimmunology and glyco-autoimmune diseases). As first or corresponding author, she has published over 40 SCI-indexed papers in journals such as Lancet Microbe, Biomaterials, and Journal of Autoimmunity, with more than 300 non-self-citations. As Principal Investigator (PI), she leads projects including the Cultivation Project of Major Research Plan, General Program, and Youth Program of NSFC, the General Program of BNSF, and the Ministry of Education’s Doctoral Program. She also participates as a key member in initiatives like the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Key R&D Program and National Science and Technology Key Project. In glycoimmunology, her work explores glycosylation bioactivity and its role in immune-related diseases (autoimmune diseases and tumors). She developed a simple, high-throughput, low-cost glycan-specific antibody detection system, used for early rheumatoid arthritis (RA) diagnosis and lymphoma prognosis assessment. She also identified glycan-specific antibodies’ role in driving disease progression, offering new insights for glycoimmunology’s clinical application. Additionally, her research on immune cell lineages and cell development/maturation/differentiation rules in immune-related diseases lays a theoretical foundation for precision immunotherapy.
