Human functional genomics,Immune regulation

Personal Profile

Our research is dedicated to pioneering explorations in human functional genomics. We have made a series of groundbreaking discoveries by identifying novel cell death-related molecules including those involved in apoptosis, autophagy, and other forms, and elucidating their molecular mechanisms within core biological processes. These findings have revealed critical roles in tumor development, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders, providing new theoretical foundations and potential therapeutic targets for the prevention and treatment of related diseases. We have secured 17 research projects funded by prestigious institutions such as the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation. Our researches have resulted in the publication of over 100 SCI-indexed articles in leading international journals, including  Autophagy ,  Cell Death & Differentiation ,  EMBO Reports ,  Cellular & Molecular Immunology , and the  Journal of Autoimmunity . Our contributions have been recognized with several awards, including the Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Tutor from Peking University (awarded twice), the Outstanding Instructor Award for Innovative Talent Cultivation from the Peking University Health Science Center, and the Outstanding SCI Paper Award from the Peking University School of Basic Medical Sciences with multiple occasions.
