Personal Profile

Dr. Zheng’s current research is focusing on the homeostasis of cardiac mitochondria/sarcoplasmic reticulum in the pathogenesis of cardiac and skeletal muscle diseases.  Dr. Zheng graduated from Peking University in 2001 with her Ph.D. majoring in Pathophysiology. For around 30 years, Dr. Zheng’s research has been primarily on the pathophysiological mechanisms of heart diseases, publishing more than 70 articles in journals including Circulation Research, PNAS, and Hypertension, and has been supported by grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and National Basic Research Program of China.
