Personal profile

He currently serves as the Director of the Digestive, Nutritional, and Metabolic Professional Committee of the Chinese Association for Physiological Sciences, and as the Deputy Director of the Endocrinology and Metabolism Professional Committee. He is also a second-round review panelist for the NSFC, Editor-in-Chief of OJG and OJMIP, and a peer reviewer for journals such as Gut, Endocrinology, and AJP.

He has published over 140 SCI-indexed papers in renowned scientific journals such as Nature Communications, Hepatology, PNAS, Diabetes, Diabetologia, Advanced Science, MBC, Endocrinology, Molecular Endocrinology, Journal of Physiology, AJP, and Glia. He has obtained one utility model patent and two invention patents. He has supervised 26 graduates and two postdoctoral researchers, and currently mentors seven doctoral candidates.
