Personal profile

Dr. Zeyu Chen received his B.S. in Life Sciences from Peking University in 2013. He then worked as a research assistant in the laboratory of Richard A. Flavell at Yale University (2013–2014), followed by doctoral training in the laboratory of E. John Wherry at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Ph.D. in Immunology in 2020. From 2020 to 2025, he pursued postdoctoral research in the laboratory of Bradley E. Bernstein at Harvard Medical School and the Broad Institute. In April 2025, he joined the faculty of Peking University Health Science Center.

Dr. Chen has authored over 30 publications, including six first-author or co-first-author papers in  Cell ,  Science ,  Immunity ,  Cell Genomics , and  Nature Reviews Immunology . His work has been cited more than 9,100 times (H-index 30), with six papers recognized as ESI Highly Cited Papers. He is also the holder of two international patents.
