Yong-Fen Qi, professor, her research focuses on the pathophysiological significance of cardiovascular active peptides, pathogenesis and prevention of cardiovascular diseases, and the mechanism of vascular calcification,Now Yong-Fen Qi is the vice chairman of the Atherosclerosis Professional Committee of Chinese Association of Pathophysiology, the standing member of the Bioactive Small Molecule Professional Committee, and the member of the stress professional committee of the Chinese Physiological Society. Executive editorial board of the Chinese Journal of Arteriosclerosis, editorial board of Journal of Peking University (Health Sciences), etc. She was granted by Third-class Beijing Science and Technology Achievements, Second-class Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award (Science and Technology) in 2011, Second-class Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award in 2013, and Third-class China Medical Science and Technology Award in 2014. She also takes on some Projects such as Key Project of Vascular Major Research Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, The New Century Outstanding Talents Support Plan of the Ministry of Education, National Natural Science Foundation of China. She published a lot of research papers and the H-Index is 45.
